REPORTS: Tragedy Hits Ghana Boxing as Bahubali Passes Away

Ghanaian boxing has been dealt another heartbreaking blow with the sudden passing of promising fighter Ernest Akushey, popularly known in the ring as Bahubali.

According to reports, the boxer was rushed to hospital in the middle of the night but, sadly, could not survive. His untimely death comes just 11 days after his last professional bout, leaving fans and the boxing fraternity in shock and sorrow.

Bahubali, admired for his resilience and fighting spirit, was seen as one of the rising stars of the sport in Ghana. His unexpected passing adds to the recent string of tragedies that have cast a shadow over Ghanaian boxing.

Messages of condolence have begun pouring in from fans, fellow boxers, and stakeholders in the sport as the nation mourns yet another talent gone too soon.
