Mighty Minority Caucus Donates GHS 100,000 to Black Queens for AWCON Heroics

The Mighty Minority Caucus in Parliament, led by Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has donated GHS 100,000 to the Black Queens in recognition of their impressive third-place finish at the recently concluded Africa Women's Cup of Nations (AWCON) in Morocco 

The gesture is aimed at appreciating the national team’s resilience, dedication, and outstanding performance during the tournament, which saw them proudly place third among Africa’s elite women’s football teams.

Hon. Afenyo-Markin, speaking on behalf of the Minority Caucus, commended the Queens for making the nation proud and reaffirmed Parliament’s support for women’s football development in Ghana.

The donation is expected to boost morale within the team and encourage further excellence in upcoming international assignments.
