Afi Amenyeku Crowned Ghana’s Most Decorated Female Goalkeeper at Just 20

The Elite Football Academy and PTF Alliance Sports Management, proud representatives of Black Queens goalkeeper Afi Amenyeku, extend heartfelt congratulations to her, her club Northern Ladies FC, and the entire senior national team—the Black Queens—on securing the bronze medal at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

At just 20 years of age, Afi Amenyeku has made history as Ghana’s most decorated female goalkeeper in terms of medals, achieving remarkable success within a short span of time.

Her inspiring journey began with a gold medal win at the WAFU Zone B Women’s Championship, where she was also adjudged the Best Goalkeeper. She continued her stellar form at the 2023/2024 All-African Games, once again helping Ghana to gold and earning the Best Goalkeeper title of that tournament as well.

Now, on July 26, 2025, Afi has added a WAFCON bronze medal to her growing list of accolades, following the Black Queens’ strong performance in Morocco. Her club, Northern Ladies FC, has also played a vital role in her development and growth as one of the country’s finest football talents.
