Hon. Mavis Kuukua Bissue Engages Top Football Stakeholders Ahead of Ahanta SportyFest 2025

Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahanta West Constituency, Hon. Mavis Kuukua Bissue, held a high-profile meeting with prominent football stakeholders at Embassy Gardens in Accra earlier today as part of preparations for the 2nd edition of the AHANTA SPORTYFEST.

The strategic meeting, facilitated by renowned football agent Farado Luchi, featured key figures in the football world including Samuel Anim Addo, former manager of Black Stars legend Asamoah Gyan. Also present were international guests—a club director from Belgium and a top football agent from Sweden 

The discussions centered on sports development in the Ahanta West Constituency and planning for the 2025 edition of Ahanta SportyFest, which forms a key pillar of the MP’s broader vision to uplift sports in the region.

According to sources, Samuel Anim Addo expressed his admiration for Hon. Kuukua’s vision and commitment to grassroots development. He pledged to support the initiative by constructing a modern boxing arena—the first of its kind in the Western Region.

The visiting Belgian club director was equally impressed by the MP’s drive and promised to rally other European club directors to explore and invest in sports development opportunities within the constituency.

Scheduled for July or August 2025, the upcoming Ahanta SportyFest promises to be a vibrant platform for unearthing and showcasing young football talent from the municipality, reinforcing Hon. Kuukua Bissue’s commitment to youth empowerment through sports.
