Al Qadsiah Closing in on €15M Deal for Ghanaian Talent Christopher Bonsu Baah

Al Qadsiah is on the verge of completing a blockbuster deal for Ghanaian wonderkid Christopher Bonsu Baah, with Belgian side KRC Genk accepting an offer in excess of €15 million to facilitate the transfer.

The 19-year-old winger, who has been attracting interest from top European clubs, is now set to continue his career in the Saudi Pro League. Sources close to the deal indicate that Bonsu Baah will travel to Saudi Arabia in the coming days to finalize the move and sign a long-term contract running until June 2029.

Bonsu Baah has remained in Belgium as final paperwork is being processed, but all indications point to an imminent conclusion. Al Qadsiah, recently promoted to the Saudi Pro League, have made the Ghanaian one of their marquee signings as they look to establish themselves in the top tier.

The former Right to Dream Academy product joined Genk in 2023 and quickly made a name for himself with his explosive pace, technical flair, and eye for goal, making over 40 appearances for the Belgian outfit.

This deal marks one of the biggest transfers involving a Ghanaian teenager in recent years and signals Al Qadsiah’s serious intentions for the upcoming campaign.

Further announcements are expected once medicals and contract formalities are completed.
