Hearts of Oak Reassigns Coach Aboubakar Ouattara as Special Advisor 

Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC has announced a major technical restructuring with the reassignment of Head Coach Aboubakar Ouattara to the role of Special Advisor to the Board of Directors.

The club, in an official statement dated June 24, 2025, confirmed that Ouattara will now work directly with the Board on special assignments and strategic matters aimed at advancing the club’s development.

“The Board of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC has re-assigned Aboubakar Ouattara from the role of Head Coach to Special Advisor to the Board of Directors,” the statement read.

The club expressed its appreciation for Ouattara’s contribution to the senior team, particularly in the areas of professionalism and innovation.

“We take this opportunity to express our appreciation for the professionalism and innovation Aboubakar Ouattara brought to the senior team during his term as the Head Coach,” the statement added.

Hearts of Oak also extended congratulations to Ouattara on his new appointment, expressing optimism about future collaboration to help push the club to greater heights.
