Pitch Invader in Ghana-Chad Game Sentenced to 100 Days Imprisonment

The Accra District Court has sentenced 21-year-old Mohammed Huzeinu to 100 days in prison for invading the pitch during Ghana’s World Cup qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 21, 2025.

Huzeinu's actions disrupted the game and could result in sanctions against the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

 The court’s decision serves as a warning against similar incidents, reinforcing the importance of security and discipline at sporting events.

 The GFA has urged fans to respect matchday regulations.
