Egypt to Host TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2025

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially awarded the hosting rights for the TotalEnergies CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2025 to Egypt. This follows the withdrawal of Côte d'Ivoire, which cited unforeseen circumstances as the reason for its inability to host the tournament.

Egypt had previously submitted a bid to host the competition, and CAF has now confirmed that the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and the Egyptian Government will take over as hosts.

The tournament will kick off on Sunday, 27 April 2025, with the final set to be played on 18 May 2025.
