Premier club Accra Hearts of Oak are heading to Akosombo to continue with their preparations for next season.
The Phobians, began their preseason campaign on Monday at their Pobiman Training Complex, anticipating a good season.
Chieftains at the capital city club, recently named the first batch of their technical team with Dutchman Rene Hiddink appointed as the Technical Director.
He took charge of the first day training at Pobiman, and he will be in charge of the team’s preparations for the 2023-24 Ghana football season until a substantive coach is named.
At Akosombo, the Phobians will engage in some preseason friendlies, keeping them in shape for the start of the new season.
Accra Hearts of Oak will take on city rivals Great Olympics in the Ga Homowo Festival Cup match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 20.
The former African champions, will trek to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale to play RTU in their opening fixture on the betPawa Premier League in September.
