Medeama Coach Ibrahim Tanko Eyes Victory Over Hearts of Oak

Medeama Sporting Club's head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, has expressed his team’s strong determination to secure all three points in their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash against Accra Hearts of Oak.

Speaking to Medi TV on Thursday, the coach highlighted how Hearts of Oak’s recent 1-0 defeat to Nations FC could work in his side’s favor. He believes that the Phobians’ morale will be affected by the loss, giving Medeama a psychological advantage ahead of the encounter.

“Our next game is against Accra Hearts of Oak. We are preparing very well so that we will get our points as well. They are playing today and I think we have two days more rest. Definitely, it’s good for us, so we are going to prepare very well and go and face them,” Ibrahim Tanko stated.

The Medeama boss further noted that the timing of Hearts of Oak’s recent defeat could serve as added motivation for his players.

“I heard they are playing today and they are one goal down. It’s not good morale for them, so we are going to use that as a motivation for our team so that we will get something out of there,” he added.

Medeama SC will be hoping to capitalize on their opponent’s setback as they look to strengthen their position in the Ghana Premier League.
