It’s matchday in the Ghana Premier League on Friday as Aduana FC hosts Bechem United to kick start the weekend’s action as the season unfolds.
The Fire Lads will be in search of their 24 victory in 32 matches against teams based in the Brong-Ahafo region since they joined the Ghanaian top-flight in the season of 2009/10.
The game will be played at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro with kickoff time set for 3:00 PM local time.
A win for the home home side, will take them top of the stairs ahead of the rest of the Matchday 15 fixtures, and they will play for it as they chase their ninth win of the campaign.
They are second on the table with 24 points, two points behind leaders FC Samartex who play on Sunday.
Aduana FC will however come up against a Bechem United side that is on form, as they sit fourth on the table, one point behind them.
Going into this fixture, Bechem United have played 33 away games against teams based in the Brong-Ahafo region in the GPL, winning two, losing 16 with five drawn games since the 2011/12 season.
This season, they have won six of the 14 matches they have played, and a win today, will take Bechem United second.
