The Ashanti Regional U15 side showcased a dominant performance, defeating the Eastern Regional U15 team 3-0 in a thrilling match at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram during the GFA U15 Elite Tournament.
The first goal came in the 27th minute when Shadrack Brobbey broke the deadlock with a well-placed finish, putting Ashanti ahead. Just three minutes later, Sani Mohammed doubled the lead, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to score in the 30th minute.
Nathaniel Owusu completed the scoring, sealing the victory with a composed finish to make it 3-0. The Eastern Regional U15 team struggled to break down Ashanti’s organized defense and found it difficult to mount a comeback.
With this result, the Ashanti Regional U15 team moves forward in the tournament with confidence, while the Eastern Regional U15 team will need to regroup for their next fixture.
