Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said his side cannot afford to underrate Basake Holy Stars in their Ghana Premier League (GPL), game on Sunday.
Coach Ogum, will lead his side to the Western region to confront the GPL debutants in a Matchday Eight fixture.
And, the gaffer said, it will be suicidal to go it easy against the home side as they seek for the three points.
“If we underrate Basake Holy Stars on Sunday it will go against us,” Coach Ogum told the club’s media ahead of Sunday’s game.
Asante Kotoko will trek to the CAM Park, Aiyinase, looking to preserve their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum added; “Asante Kotoko will be up for it on Sunday, and I trust the players to rise to the occasion as we go for the three points.”
“As head coach, it is my duty to prepare the boys well for any occasion, and it includes this weekend’s game,” he said.
A win in this game for Asante Kotoko on Sunday, will see them top the table if results elsewhere this weekend, favours them.
