Accra Hearts of Oak have reached a partial agreement with former Ashgold SC midfielder Seth Osei over his proposed move to the club.
The Phobians accepted the player’s demand for a monthly salary of ¢12,000 and a signing-on fee of ¢50,000. However, negotiations hit a snag when the player requested a 40% onward transfer clause in the deal.
Hearts management reportedly rejected the transfer clause, deeming it unfavorable to the club’s future interests. Talks are ongoing to resolve the disagreement and finalize the deal.
Seth Osei, a versatile attacking midfielder, has been a standout performer in Ghana’s top-flight league and is seen as a potential asset for Hearts of Oak as they aim to strengthen their squad.
