The Ghana Manganese Company Limited (GMCL), has assured Ghana champions Medeama SC of sponsorship for their African campaign.
The Yellow and Mauves will play in the CAF Champions League competition next season after winning the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.
Medeama SC, have confirmed their participation in the competition, and have already setup sub committees to prosecute the project.
The GMCL, are one of their partners, helping them their finances as they won a historic first Ghana top-flight title last season.
Medeama SC are aiming to do well in their maiden voyage into the CAF Champions League, and they will need sound financial backing to compete at the very top.
The assurance from the GMCL, will be welcome news to chieftains at the Tarkwa-based club as it will ease some of their financial worries.
Medeama’s campaign in the CAF Champions League will begin in August in the first preliminary round against a yet to be named opponent.
The draw for the competition, will be conducted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), later this month.
