Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Nartey Ogum said his team will take shape as the season wore on and, expects them to be competitive.
The Porcupines, were held to a scoreless draw by Kpando Heart of Lions in their opening game of the season at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi last Sunday.
Speaking after the game, Coach Ogum said, this was a difficult game for his side, coming barely a month into their pre-season preparations.
“I was satisfied with the output of the players, and I am confident they will come good as they season progresses,” Coach Ogum said.
He added: “There were a lot of positives we took from this fixture, and we will build on this for the reminder of the campaign.”
“This was our first game of the season, and we will continue to work things out at the training grounds to improve.”
Coach Ogum and his charges, will look for their first win of the campaign as they take on Bibiani Gold Stars in their next game.
This betPawa Premier League Matchday Two fixture, will be played at the Dun’s Park, Bibiani on Saturday with kick-off time set for 3:00 PM local time.
