Owner of Asante Kotoko Otumfuor Osei Tutu II has appointed a charted accountant Nana Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua to head a new Interim Management Committee (IMC) for the club.
This follows the dissolution of the board and management of the club after their three-year mandate ended this month.
The Asantehene, has put in place this IMC to take charge of the club ahead of the start of the new season which has been fixed to start in September.
Nana Apikra Akwasi Awua, heads this management, with Otumfuor Osei Tutu II expected to make further appointments soon.
Mr Awua is joined on the IMC by club legend and former Ghana captain Akwasi Appiah, Prosper Nartey Ogum who returns as coach and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi who retains his post as Administrative Manager from the old regime.
The IMC, is to ensure the club fulfills all the statutory obligations for the Ghanaian top-flight and prepare a formidable team for next season.
Asante Kotoko finished fourth last season in the betPawa Premier League after winning the title the season before.
