Medeama FC has ushered in a new era with the appointment of Nebojsa Kapor as their Head Coach. The 37-year-old Bosnian, known for his tactical prowess and dedication to player development, has inked a one-year deal with the option for a two-year extension.
Stepping into the shoes of the esteemed Evans Augustine Adotey, who reverts to his role as Technical Director, Kapor brings his rich experience within the Ghanaian football landscape, having previously served at Tema Youth and had an unofficial stint with Bechem United.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Kapor shared, “I am thrilled to contribute to the success of the champions. Medeama FC is an ambitious club, and I am impressed with the ongoing vision here in Tarkwa.”
Acknowledging the foundation laid by Adotey, Kapor added, “Mr. Adotey has done a remarkable job, and it’s now our responsibility to build upon his legacy. We aim to harness the talents within the club and strive for excellence.”
Confident in the team’s capabilities, Kapor emphasized, “We’re geared up to challenge for trophies this season. Despite the ground to cover in the league standings, we’re poised for the journey ahead. Our collective efforts will set this club on the path to glory.”
Recognized for his dynamic coaching style and talent-spotting abilities, Kapor is set to assume full charge pending final documentation approval from the Ghana Football Association.
Born in Serbia, Kapor holds a UEFA Licence A badge from the Croatia Football Federation. His previous roles encompass technical directorship at Football Schools and Camp Leotar Trebinje Premier League in Bosnia, along with coaching the University Football team at Normal University, Hefei.
As Medeama FC embraces a new chapter under Kapor’s leadership, anticipation mounts for the club’s pursuit of triumphs and excellence in the upcoming football season.
