Ghana Women’s Premier League Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies, have opened camp at Prampram ahead of their participation in the WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
The double winners, moved to the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence on Wednesday to continue with their preparations for the tournament.
The Techiman-based side, will remain at Prampram until August 16 before leaving for Cote D’Ivoire for the tournament.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been drawn in Group B as they seek to qualify to the CAF Champions League.
They have been paired with Grande National of Niger and Amis du Monde of Togo for the WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers to be staged in Cote D’Ivoire.
In Group A, Delta Queens of Nigeria are housed with Athletico D’Abidjan of Ivory Coast, USFA of Burkina Faso and Sam Nelly FC from the Benin Republic.
The tournament coming up in Cote D’Ivoire, will be staged between August 18 to September 3 with the winner booking a place in the CAF Women’s Champions League to be hosted by Morocco later this year.
