Forward Giyasu Ibrahim is targeting scoring again against Asante Kotoko as his Karela United side hosts the Porcupines in their league opener.
United, will welcome the record Ghana champions to the Naa Sheriga Sports Stadium, Nalerigu on Sunday as the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League starts this weekend.
And, Ibrahim is aiming to find the net again for his side as they target their first three points of the new campaign.
Last season, the striker scored twice in the league and the MTN FA Cup as Karela United won both games at home, and, he is targeting another episode.
“I scored against Asante Kotoko in the league and the MTN FA Cup last season and I will make sure I get a goal on Sunday”, Ibrahim told to he local media.
Karela United survived the last campaign on the final day of the season, and they will look to start this campaign on a high as they aim to avoid the circumstances that made them struggle last term.
