Asante Kotoko Transfer News: Key Players Agree Not to Leave as Free Agents
Asante Kotoko havep received a major boost in their ongoing contract and transfer negotiations, as three key players—Ablorh, Samba O’Neil, and Peter Amidu—have, in principle, agreed not to leave the club as free agents.
According to the club’s Communications Director, Sarfo Duku, Esq., the players have expressed their willingness to ensure the club benefits should they secure moves away.
**“Per our last meeting with them, Ablorh, Samba, and Peter Amidu have in principle resolved not top leave as free agents, allowing Kotoko to benefit from their move.
When an agreement is finally reached, the clubp won’t impede their moves, given that both parties would benefit,”** Duku told KessbenSports.
He further revealed that discussions are still pending with two other players whose futures remain uncertain.
“The club has yet to meet with Camara and Ansu though,” he added.
The decision by the trio is expected to provide Asante Kotoko with a stronger bargaining position as the club navigates an important transfer window and seeks to maintain financial stability while restructuring its squad.
