Ebusua Dwarfs Coach Bright Lord Ellis Asked to Step Aside After Winless Start

Ebusua Dwarfs have asked head coach Bright Lord Ellis to step aside for the next three matches following the team’s winless start to the 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League season.

Sources close to the club reveal that Coach Ellis, who has overseen three games without a victory, has requested a mutual termination of his contract. However, the club’s management is reluctant to grant his request at this stage.

Dwarfs’ hierarchy believes the decision to ask him to step aside temporarily will allow them to reassess the team’s direction and performance in the coming weeks.

Coach Bright Lord Ellis has so far guided the side to two draws and one defeat in the current campaign.

As it stands, the club insists on the three-game step-aside directive, while the coach remains firm on his desire for a mutual termination.
