EXCLUSIVE: Amazulu FC Begin Talks to Sign Berekum Chelsea Forward Stephen Amankona

South African Premier Soccer League side Amazulu FC have opened negotiations with Ghana Premier League outfit Berekum Chelsea for the services of their star forward, Stephen Amankona.

Sources close to the deal indicate that Berekum Chelsea have placed a $100,000 price tag on the attacker, as interest in the 24-year-old continues to grow. Amazulu, keen on bolstering their attacking options ahead of the new season, are said to be seriously considering the valuation.

Should the deal go through, Amankona is expected to receive a sign-on fee of $20,000 along with a monthly salary of $7,000—an attractive package for the former Asante Kotoko forward.
