EXCLUSIVE: Kwamo Future Stars FC Sign Goalkeeper Fatao Seidu on Loan from Asante Kotoko
Division One League side Kwamo Future Stars FC have strengthened their squad with the acquisition of promising goalkeeper Fatao Seidu from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
The highly-rated shot-stopper joins on a season-long loan deal that will see him remain with Future Stars until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Seidu, who has been with Kotoko’s setup, is regarded as one of the most talented young goalkeepers in the country. However, with limited opportunities in the Porcupine Warriors’ first team, the move to Kwamo Future Stars provides him with the platform to gain valuable playing time and experience.
Future Stars, who are determined to make an impact in the Division One League this season, see Seidu’s arrival as a major boost to their defensive setup. His agility, command of the area, and shot-stopping ability are expected to play a vital role in their push for success.
The deal reflects Kotoko’s commitment to player development, ensuring that their young talents receive competitive exposure while strengthening the ambitions of clubs in the lower tier.
Seidu is expected to go straight into the Future Stars’ matchday squad as the season intensifies.
