GFA Club Licensing Board Rejects Nsoatreman Park Over Safety Concerns

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Club Licensing Board has rejected Nsoatreman Park as a venue for Ghana Premier League (GPL) matches due to security concerns.

According to the board’s assessment, the stadium's security zone is inadequate, exposing players to fans and creating an unsafe environment for football matches. The lack of proper safety measures has raised concerns about the well-being of both players and officials during games.

With the league set to resume on March 7, Nsoatreman FC must now either improve the security infrastructure at the venue or secure an alternative home ground to continue their campaign.

The decision underscores the GFA’s strict enforcement of the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols 2025, aimed at improving safety standards at league venues across the country.
