The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in collaboration with Adesa Productions and Ghana Premiership Football Limited, has delivered on its pledge of providing financial support to clubs in the Ghana Premier League. Each of the 18 participating clubs has received a sum of 1 million Ghana cedis, a move aimed at boosting the growth and competitiveness of the domestic top-flight.

This significant investment marks a new milestone for Ghanaian football. By strengthening the financial base of clubs, the initiative is expected to improve player welfare, enhance club structures, and drive fan engagement across the country.

According to the GFA, the disbursement is not only a demonstration of commitment to the clubs but also a strategic step towards transforming the league into a more attractive and marketable product on the continent. With the backing of Adesa Productions and Ghana Premiership Football Limited, the association is optimistic that this financial injection will usher in a thrilling new era for the GPL.

Stakeholders believe this support will provide clubs with the resources to be more competitive both locally and on the African stage, helping Ghana reclaim its place among the powerhouses of African football.
