GFA General Secretary Refutes Claims of TV Crew Ejection Ahead of Match
Prosper Harrison Addo, the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has publicly debunked claims that a television crew was driven out of a stadium ahead of a live match. This follows a Facebook post by Nii Darko, alleging that the TV crew and their equipment officer were removed from both the stadium and dressing room.
In a swift response on Facebook, Prosper Addo urged Nii Darko to refrain from such “alarmist posts,” emphasizing that the Globe TV team was in the stadium preparing for the live broadcast of the match. He stressed that these types of posts are misleading and unnecessary.
"The Globe TV Team are in the Stadium doing their work... Please and please don't do these kind of posts," Addo stated.
The situation highlights the need for accurate reporting and clear communication ahead of major sporting events.
