Ashgold FC held Asante Kotoko SC to a goalless draw in a pre-season friendly at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

The Miners proved solid and disciplined at the back, matching the Porcupine Warriors with a compact defensive setup that made it difficult for Kotoko to find openings.

Despite the stalemate, Asante Kotoko looked the more dominant side, controlling possession and creating numerous chances throughout the encounter. However, their forwards were unable to convert, leaving the game without a breakthrough.
