OFFICIAL: Asante Kotoko Sign 21-Year-Old Striker Dogo Yakubu on 3½-Year Deal

Asante Kotoko have officially announced the signing of highly rated 21-year-old striker Dogo Yakubu on a three-and-a-half-year contract after he successfully passed his medical examination.

The young forward joins the Porcupine Warriors from Midcity Football Academy, marking a significant step in his career as he makes the leap to Ghana’s top-flight football.

Club sources say Kotoko’s technical team have been monitoring Dogo for some time and were impressed by his strength, movement, and eye for goal, qualities they believe will add depth and competition to their attacking options.

Dogo Yakubu is expected to link up with his new teammates immediately as Asante Kotoko continue preparations for the upcoming campaign, with the club hopeful the striker can develop into a key figure for the future.

The signing forms part of Kotoko’s broader strategy of investing in young, promising talents capable of contributing both now and in the long term.
