Simba SC Reach Agreement with Ghanaian Striker Jonathan Sowah

Tanzanian giants Simba SC have officially reached an agreement to sign Ghanaian forward Jonathan Sowah from Singida Black Stars.

The highly-rated striker has penned a two-year contract with the Msimbazi-based club, keeping him at the club until June 30, 2027. The deal marks a significant step in Sowah’s career as he prepares to feature in one of East Africa’s most competitive leagues.

All contractual documents were finalized and sealed on Monday, with biometric procedures completed to formalize the move. The only step left for the transfer to be fully completed is the mandatory medical assessment, which is expected to be conducted in the coming days.

Sowah’s move to Simba SC comes after an impressive spell with Singida Black Stars, where he showcased his goal-scoring prowess and attacking flair. The 24-year-old former Medeama SC striker is expected to add firepower to Simba’s front line ahead of their domestic and continental campaigns.

The club is yet to make an official unveiling, pending the results of the medical test. However, sources close to the player confirm he is eager and ready to begin this new chapter in Tanzania.
