Football fans in Tarkwa Nsuaem are in for an electrifying weekend as the prestigious MTN FA Cup semi-finals take centre stage at the TNA Stadium on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Semi-Final 1 kicks off on Saturday at 4:00 PM, featuring a fierce showdown between Attram De Visser Soccer Academy and Golden Kicks FC. Ahead of the main fixture, a curtain-raiser match between local sides Tarsco and Fiasec will ignite the excitement from 2:00 PM. Gates open at 1:00 PM, and entry is pegged at a modest 20 and 50 cedis.

The excitement continues on Sunday, May 11, with giants Asante Kotoko facing Berekum Chelsea in what promises to be a blockbuster second semi-final clash, also starting at 4:00 PM. Gates again open at 1:00 PM, with the same affordable gate fees.

In a passionate rallying call, residents of Tarkwa Nsuaem are being urged to throng the stadium and support the event to help position the municipality as a hub for major football tournaments.

“This is not just football—it’s history in the making,” a local organiser said, promising to sponsor the tickets of 10 ladies who wish to attend, adding humorously, “but not from my pocket!”

With Mother’s Day falling on Sunday, families are also encouraged to bring their mothers along to enjoy the atmosphere and celebration of the beautiful game.

The MTN FA Cup—decorated, attractive, and proudly Ghanaian—is more than just a competition. This weekend, Obiaa Nyɛ Obiaa at the TNA Stadium.
