Tarkwa Nsuaem Sets the Standard with Historic MTN FA Cup Semi-Final
Tarkwa Nsuaem played host to arguably the best semi-final in the history of the MTN FA Cup on Saturday and Sunday, drawing an electric crowd that turned the TNA Park into a cauldron of football passion.
The sheer number of fans who trooped to the stadium speaks volumes and presents a compelling case for organizers to consider making the TNA Park the permanent venue for future FA Cup finals. Football is at its best when stadiums are packed, and since its commissioning, the TNA Park has consistently delivered unforgettable atmospheres.
Unless finals continue to be plagued by free gate policies and the bussing of students to fill empty seats, the competition risks losing its spark. Real fan engagement, as seen in Tarkwa, is what elevates a tournament.
It’s not too late to bring the final to Tarkwa Nsuaem – a town fast becoming the true home of Ghana football.
Congratulations to the people of Tarkwa Nsuaem and the entire Western Region for this historic achievement. Special appreciation goes to the hardworking media houses in Tarkwa – Ayekooo! Together, we made the competition a resounding success.
