EXCLUSIVE: Andy Kumi Francis Parts Ways with Medeama SC After One Season
Attacker Andy Kumi Francis has officially parted ways with Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC after just one season at the club.
Sources close to the player have confirmed that the decision to mutually part ways was influenced by Kumi's limited playing time during the 2024/25 season. Despite joining the Yellow and Mauve with high expectations, the former Kotoko striker struggled to secure regular minutes under coach Evans Adotey.
Kumi, who joined Medeama from Bechem United, made only a handful of appearances throughout the season and failed to establish himself as a consistent starter.
The 24-year-old is now a free agent and is expected to weigh options from other Premier League clubs as well as potential moves abroad.
More updates to follow as the player’s representatives begin talks with interested parties.
