EXCLUSIVE: Isaac Amoako Set to Be Named Asante Kotoko’s New Goalkeepers’ Trainer

Sources close to Asante Kotoko have confirmed that former goalkeeper Isaac Amoako is set to be appointed as the club’s new goalkeepers’ trainer.

 Amoako, who enjoyed a successful stint with the Porcupine Warriors during his playing days, is currently serving as the goalkeepers’ coach for Ghana’s U-20 team, which is participating in a tournament in Egypt.

An official announcement regarding his new role at Kotoko is expected to be made following the conclusion of the tournament.

The move is seen as part of the club’s broader efforts to reinforce its technical team with experienced former players who understand the club's culture and philosophy.

Amoako’s return to Kotoko in a technical capacity is expected to bring stability and valuable expertise to the club’s goalkeeping department.
