JUST IN — Kotoku Royals FC have officially filed a protest against Access Bank Division One League Zone Three leaders, Hohoe United FC, for allegedly fielding an unqualified player in their recent fixture.

According to information from Eagle Eye Media Consult, the protest centers around player Kwadwo Boamah, whom Kotoku Royals accuse of having a double identity. The alleged infraction occurred during Sunday’s game at the Akim Oda Park, where Hohoe United edged Kotoku Royals 2-1. Notably, Boamah scored the second and decisive goal for the visitors.

The Ghana Football Association is expected to investigate the matter and make a ruling in due course.
