Kwasi Donsu Bids Emotional Farewell to Medeama SC After Contract Termination

Former Medeama SC captain Kwasi Donsu has officially ended his long-standing association with the Tarkwa-based club after mutually terminating his contract. In an exclusive interview with Space FM Tarkwa, Donsu confirmed his departure, describing it as a bittersweet moment after years of dedicated service.

Donsu, who joined Medeama SC over a decade ago, was instrumental in the club’s major successes. He won the MTN FA Cup with the team and made history as the first captain to lead Medeama SC to their maiden Ghana Premier League title — a proud milestone for the club and the entire Tarkwa community.

Reflecting on his journey, Donsu expressed deep gratitude to those who supported him throughout his time at the club.

> “I want to sincerely thank the club president, Mr. Moses Armah, and his wife for the love and care they’ve shown me over the years,” he said. “My appreciation also goes to the past and present club management, the wonderful Medeama supporters, the good people of Tarkwa, and the media, especially Space FM and Tarkwa media, for the support you’ve always given me.”

Donsu’s departure marks the end of an illustrious chapter with Medeama SC. His leadership on the pitch, loyalty off it, and achievements in club colours have cemented his legacy as one of Medeama's greatest ever players.

The club is yet to release an official statement, but fans have already begun paying tribute to the midfield general, whose name will forever be etched in Medeama SC’s history.
