Michael Kyei Dwamena Completes Move to Al Dahra in Libya
Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Kyei Dwamena has sealed a move to Libyan outfit Al Dahra SC, joining the club on a free transfer ahead of the forthcoming season.
The industrious midfielder, who previously impressed in the Ghana Premier League with his work rate and composure, is set for a fresh chapter as he embarks on his first stint in North African football. His arrival is expected to bolster Al Dahra’s midfield options as they push to improve their competitiveness in the Libyan Premier League.
Kyei Dwamena’s switch adds to the growing number of Ghanaian players plying their trade in Libya. Next season, he will compete against two familiar faces from the Ghana Premier League:
Richmond Lamptey, who recently completed a move to Al Ittihad Misurata, and
Albert Amoah, now with giants Al Ahly Benghazi.
Their presence sets the stage for an exciting Ghanaian representation in the Libyan topflight, with all three players aiming to make significant impacts at their respective clubs.
Kyei Dwamena will now look to settle quickly and make his mark as Al Dahra prepare for the challenges of the new campaign.
