Asante Kotoko to Hold Pre-Season Camp in Cape Coast After South African Tour

Asante Kotoko are set to continue their pre-season preparations in Cape Coast following their international trip to South Africa.

The Porcupine Warriors will camp in Cape Coast for two weeks as part of their build-up to the 2025/26 football season. This phase of their pre-season will commence immediately after their return from South Africa, where they are scheduled to play in the Toyota Cup against Kaizer Chiefs on July 26 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The two-week training camp in Cape Coast is aimed at fine-tuning the team’s tactical shape, fitness, and squad cohesion under newly appointed head coach Abdul Karim Zito.

Following their stay in the Central Region, Kotoko will return to Kumasi to compete in the GHALCA Top 4 tournament—a key preparatory competition that will test the team’s readiness ahead of the new Ghana Premier League campaign.

The club is expected to use both the South African tour and the Cape Coast camp to assess new signings and build a competitive squad for the upcoming season.
