LATEST: Former Kotoko Defender Wahab Adams Spotted at Pobiman, Trains with Hearts of Oak
Former Asante Kotoko defender Wahab Adams has been sighted at the Pobiman training complex, where he is currently training under observation with Accra Hearts of Oak.
The experienced centre-back, who is now a free agent, has joined the Phobians’ pre-season sessions as the club continues to assess potential additions ahead of the new Ghana Premier League campaign.
Adams, known for his strong aerial presence and defensive leadership, previously had stints with Aduana Stars before his move to Kotoko, where he spent several seasons. His presence at Hearts’ camp has sparked speculation about a possible move to the capital-based giants.
It remains unclear whether Hearts of Oak will offer the 30-year-old a permanent deal, but sources close to the club suggest the technical team is keen on bolstering their defensive options ahead of the GHALCA Top 4 and the 2025/26 season.
More developments are expected in the coming days as Wahab Adams continues his stay with the former league champions.
