Richmond Lamptey Officially Parts Ways with APR FC, Seals Move to Al Ittihad Misurata
Ghanaian midfielder Richmond Lamptey has officially parted ways with Rwandan giants APR FC with immediate effect.
Lamptey is currently en route from Dar es Salaam to Kigali, where APR FC had been participating in the ongoing 2025 Kagame Cup. Upon his arrival in Kigali, the former Ghana Premier League star will pack his belongings before returning to Ghana to prepare for the next chapter of his career.
The talented midfielder has agreed to join Libyan side Al Ittihad Misurata SC on a one-year deal, marking the beginning of a new journey in North African football.
Lamptey’s departure is seen as a significant move, as he looks to make his mark in the Libyan Premier League after a stint with APR FC in Rwanda.
