Asante Kotoko SC continued their strong push in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with a narrow 1-0 victory over Dreams FC on Sunday, 14 December 2025, in Matchweek 14 of the campaign.

Playing at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Porcupine Warriors secured all three points in a tightly contested encounter to keep themselves firmly in the title race. The win moves Kotoko up to third place on the league table with 24 points, maintaining pressure on the teams above them.

Elsewhere on a busy Detyy December Footy matchday, Bechem United FC also recorded a 1-0 home win against Eleven Wonders FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, extending their impressive home form.

At the Swedru Stadium, Swedru All Blacks FC produced a convincing performance to defeat Vision FC 2-0, delighting the home supporters with a solid all-round display.

In Aiyinase, Basake Holy Stars FC were dominant as they brushed aside FC Samartex 1996 with a comfortable 2-0 victory at the AAK II Sports Stadium.

Berekum Chelsea FC also made home advantage count, edging Hohoe United FC 1-0 at the Golden City Park in a closely fought contest.

The most entertaining game of the day took place at the Wenchi Sports Stadium, where Young Apostles FC claimed a hard-earned 2-1 win over Karela United FC, boosting their confidence as the season gathers momentum.

With the league approaching its mid-season phase, Matchweek 14 highlighted the competitiveness of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, as slim margins once again proved decisive across the various centres.
