Two Cameroonian Strikers Arrive in Ghana for Trials with Asante Kotoko
Asante Kotoko have welcomed two Cameroonian strikers to Ghana as they begin trials with the club, following the Porcupine Warriors’ current shortage of options in the centre-forward department. At the moment, Kotoko have only two natural strikers available—Kwame Opoku and Morifing Donzo—prompting the technical team to explore additional reinforcements.
The trialists are expected to train with the team over the coming days as the technical bench assesses their quality, adaptability, and readiness for Ghanaian football. It is understood that head coach Karim Zito has already reviewed video footage of the duo and was impressed enough to grant them the opportunity for further in-person evaluation.
Their performance in these sessions will determine whether they earn permanent deals with the record Ghana Premier League champions, who are looking to bolster their squad for the remainder of the campaign.
