“I know what you’re capable of. There’s no better team than you.” – Sports Minister Kofi Adams rallies Black Stars ahead of Mali clash
Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Kofi Adams, has sent a powerful message of encouragement to the Black Stars ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali on September 8 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking to the players in camp, the Sports Minister urged them to believe in their ability to rise to the occasion and deliver victory for the nation.
> “I know what you’re capable of. There’s no better team than you. You have the talent, the passion, and the opportunity to turn this around,” Adams told the squad.
The Minister stressed that the entire nation is behind the team and reminded them that this fixture presents a chance to restore confidence after recent challenges.
Ghana began their September qualifiers with an away trip to N’Djamena, where they battled Chad, and will now look to secure maximum points at home against a tough Malian side.
The clash at the Accra Sports Stadium is expected to draw thousands of fans, as the Black Stars aim to take a major step in their quest for a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
With the Minister’s words of motivation, the Black Stars will be hoping to translate belief into performance when they face Mali in front of their home supporters.
