NSA Western Regional Director Accused of Misleading Authorities Over TNA Stadium Ownership

Tensions are rising in Tarkwa as the Western Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Mr. Joseph Alarbi Bortey, faces accusations of falsely claiming that Premier League side Medeama SC is attempting to take over the TNA Stadium as personal property.

This alleged misinformation, according to local stakeholders, has led the Western Regional Minister to step into the matter, pushing for the NSA to assume management of the stadium. However, this move has sparked strong opposition from the people of Tarkwa, who insist they will not allow the NSA to control the facility.

Stakeholders, including traditional leaders and community members, have clarified that Medeama SC President Moses Armah Parker is not seeking ownership of the stadium but is rather playing a supportive role in helping the people of Tarkwa manage and maintain the TNA Stadium to the highest standards.
