Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Donates $150,000 to Support Asante Kotoko’s CAF Confederation Cup Campaign

Asante Kotoko SC’s life patron, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has provided a massive financial boost to the club ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers against Wydad Athletic Club (WAC) of Morocco.

The Asantehene has donated $150,000 to the club’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) to cater for the team’s preparations and expenses for both the home and away legs of the crucial continental encounter.

This gesture from the revered King comes as a timely motivation for the Porcupine Warriors as they aim to make a strong return to continental football and restore their dominance on the African stage.
