Sports Ministry Committed to Promoting Volleyball and Other Disciplines – Wilhelmina Asamoah

The Chief Director at the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, Mrs. Wilhelmina Asamoah, has reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for the growth of volleyball and other sporting disciplines across the country.

According to Mrs. Asamoah, the Ministry is focused on developing infrastructure, supporting training programs, and encouraging participation at all levels to ensure that sports in Ghana go beyond football.

She emphasized that the Ministry’s goal is to provide equal opportunities for all sports to thrive, nurture talent, and build a stronger sporting culture that contributes to national development.

Mrs. Asamoah made these remarks during an event aimed at promoting lesser-known sports and recognizing the efforts of athletes and stakeholders who continue to advance the country’s sporting image.
